Notes on these revised packages
-------------------------------

These versions of the packages have been revised to work with
Mathematica version 3.0 as well as 2.2. The 3.0 work was carried out
only on Windows 95/NT machines, therefore the packages are offered 
as provisional, subject to further testing on other 3.0 platforms
(they should be completely portable, but...).

In the longer term, we may upgrade the packages to take advantage of
things particular to versions 3.0 and higher.
