"EXPERIMENTS IN UNDERGRADUATE MATHEMATICS" - THE BOOK:

Details are finally available on the book. Please go to:

Three sample modules are freely available: Getting Started with
Mathematica, Functions and Graphs, and Differentiation 1.

There is a special arrangement for UK higher education that allows
academic and related staff to see and use the full contents of the
book in draft form, subject to the condition of buying the book when
it appears. Please go to

for details. Note: the reason this offer is available to UK HE is due
to a contractual condition of our original funding; it isn't available
to anyone else.  


SAMPLE MODULES AVAILABLE:

Some modules on Algebra and Laboratory Statistics (not part of the book)
are freely available for downloading:

The Algebra modules are somewhat experimental, in that they look at
basic algebraic manipulations (expansion, factorisation, solving
equations) as processes that can be modeled by Mathematica programs.
Hence Mathematica programming by the student is much more upfront than
in our other modules. We'd be interested to know what you think.
