    inputbox version 2.0
    ====================

This directory contains programs for version 2.0 of inputbox. 

There are two major changes: 

(1) a new dialog box has been added for doing multiple-choice 
    inputs---i.e. it provides a set of buttons A, B, C, D and
    DON'T KNOW, rather than a window for typing input. The new 
    dialog is called by the function TMPMCQBox[].

(2) the first version of inputbox for Macintosh was restricted
    to 255 characters of input and output. 2.0 removes this
    restriction; it now uses the full 32k memory buffers of the
    Mac EditRecords. Note that all versions of inputbox place
    a 1024-character limit on output from the dialog---but this
    can be changed by setting MAX_OUT_CHARS at the top of the
    inputbox.c  (or .cpp) program. 

inputbox is a discontinued project. However I'm keeping the
code here because it may be of interest to those who wish
to create dialog boxes for communication with Mathematica.
