About the MuPAD library patch lib_patch_142_1.zip :

This patch applies only to MuPAD version 1.4.2  You need this patch
only if you have copied MuPAD 1.4.2 before 24 Nov 1999.  If you have
copied MuPAD later this patch is not needed!
This patch includes only some bug fixes, it's not an essential patch.

1.  Installing the Patch:
    ---------------------

Copy the file lib_patch_142_1.zip into the folder where the MuPAD 
library is located. In the following it is assumed that MuPAD has
been installed under C:\Program Files\SciFace\MuPAD Pro 1.4.2 Then 
the library is located in

	C:\Program Files\SciFace\MuPAD Pro 1.4.2\lib

(You should see two files lib.tar and lib.toc)

In this folder extract the zip file. Simply overwrite the current files.

That's all.
