Pvalue for Windows is a Microsoft Windows 3.1 program that computes
p-values for standard statistical hypothesis tests using only
summary data (e.g., sample mean, sample standard deviation,...).
It is useful for computing p-values when standard statistical
computer programs do not handle particular alternative-tailed
tests and relevant summary information is provided or when using
summary information from publications or textbooks. All numerical
entries are checked for errors and some constraints are checked
(e.g., normal approximation to binomial). Options for standardized
tests (e.g., p-value for z-score) are included. Pvalue for Windows
is designed to be a utility program that augments analyses provided
by the usual statistical computer programs.
This is a shareware package.
