ProCalc is a powerful and easy to use scientific and technical calculator for the IBM personal computers and compatibles. Among the valuable features of ProCalc are: its extensive set of highly accurate mathematical functions and calendar routines and extended precision (80-bit) arithmetic; the ability to create and save user variables and formulas; and use of algebraic expression with full logical (bit-manipulation) operators. The files which are included on your ProCalc diskette are: 1) PROCALC.EXE - The ProCalc program. It uses the numeric processor (8087, 287 or 387) if it is installed, otherwise ProCalc does a full emulation for the best possible results. 2) PRO87.EXE - ProCalc for users with computers which will always have the numeric processor available. This is included for such machines since it is about 15k bytes smaller than PROCALC.EXE 3) PROCALC.DOC - A complete documentation file which explains the use and features of ProCalc, along with the registration form. You may make a manual on your printer by typing: COPY PROCALC.DOC PRN: 4) PROCONV.DAT - A sample file of conversion constants for converting among commonly used units of measurement. 5) PROCONV.DOC - A text file listing the conversion constants in the above file. You may copy this to your printer 6) PROFORM.DAT - A sample file containing several useful formulas for you to try. With these files loaded onto your default disk, you may start ProCalc and load the formula file by typing: PROCALC PROFORM.DAT Please note: In the effort to make ProCalc available to as many new users as possible, it is being distributed as "shareware". This means that you are free to obtain a copy and try it as you wish. If you continue using it, please complete and return the registration form included in your documentation file. The registration fee is a very modest $20. We can not provide software of this calibre with out your help and support. ProCalc is NOT public domain software.
