CHAOTIC DYNAMICS WORKBENCH allows the advanced college physics student or researcher to perform interactive numerical experiments on nonlinear systems modeled by ordinary differential equations. Using graphical displays and direct, real-time interaction, CHAOTIC DYNAMICS WORKBENCH allows exploration of such phenomena as the period-doubling route to chaos, strange attractors, sensitive dependence on initial conditions, Lyapunov exponents, the fractal dimension of strange attractors, and the effect of damping on the dimension of the attractor.
