This file is README ------------------- This archive contains ODE 2.6, April 23, 1992. Copyright 1990 Keith Briggs PO Box 75 Heidelberg West Australia 3081 Phone: (03) 344 7088 or (03) 497 2630. Email: kbriggs@mundoe.maths.mu.oz.au Please remember that with the public domain version, you will not be able to save ODE files. The ODE built-in editor still works, but any changes cannot be saved. If you want to create new ODE files or modify the example files, you will have to use another text editor. The full version does not have this restriction. See ode26.doc for registration information. To install ODE on a hard disk ----------------------------- 1. Change to the hard disk directory in which you wish the subdirectory ODE to be created. If in doubt, type cd\ 2. Type x:install, where x is the drive letter (usually a or b) of the disk drive containing the distribution floppy disk. To run ODE, type ODE at the MSDOS prompt. ODE can also be run from a floppy drive. This archive should contain the files ------------------------------------- README INSTALL.EXE ODE.EXE ODE.HLP AIRY.ODE BINARY.ODE COSXY.ODE COUPOSC.ODE DUFFING.ODE EULER.ODE GEISEL.ODE HEAT.ODE HENON.ODE LORENZ.ODE ORBIT.ODE OSCILLAT.ODE PENDULUM.ODE QCD.ODE ROESSLER.ODE STAG.ODE VOLTERRA.ODE Several other undocumented example .ode files. Only ODE.EXE is essential for running ODE. END of README
