NumberCrunch.sea.hqx Number Crunch, version 1.41 Jim Mahoney (no known address) Number Crunch is a scientific graphing calculator in which expressions are entered in textual format. The calculator can parse and evaluate algebraic expressions, plot functions and zoom in on them as often as the user desires, and save objects to the disk. The user is allowed to define variables and functions to be used in expressions, saved to the disk, or recalled for later use. The standard log, exponential, trig, and inverse trig functions are predefined, as are Pi and e. The calculator itself is resizable, for it is in the format of a window. The program runs on small machines as well as '040 machines. Will run under both system 6 and 7, and it is 32-bit clean. -------------------------------------------------------------- Location in Mathematics Archives: Anonymous FTP: /mac/collegeAlgebra /mac/miscellaneous /mac/precalculus Gopher: (First select "Software" then "Macintosh software arranged by subjects") College Algebra / NumberCrunch Miscellaneous Programs / NumberCrunch Precalculus / NumberCrunch --------------------------------------------------------------
