RPT-1 Converter from Rapid Prototyping Technology Do you often find yourself looking for a reference manual to figure out measurement conversions? The RPT-1 Converter takes the place of a reference manual putting measurement conversions at your finger tips. You will find it an excellent tool that will meet your everyday needs. How many acres in 20 squared miles? How many watts in 160 horsepower? How many liters/milliliters in say 3 gallons, 2 quarts and 7 ounces? Conversions like these are a snap with the RPT-1 Converter. Over 140 measure units (i.e., inches, kilograms, Watts, etc), organized along 11 categories (i.e., linear, mass, power, etc) offer over 2,000 conversions. It is an on-screen calculator type converter which includes a 35-key scientific calculator and 11 user selectable screens (category types). It runs on the Macintosh (6.0.4 or later.) RPT-1 Converter is Simple to Use. Let's say you want to find out how many centimeters are in one inch. Here is what you do. First you select linear measurements from the categories popup menu. Then you enter 1 using either calculator buttons or keyboard keys. Click on the inch button in the converter space then click on the centimeter button. That's all there is to it!
