xLogicCircuits.sea.hqx xLogicCircuits version 1.2 David Eck Department of Mathematics Hobart and William Smith Colleges Geneva, NY 14456 eck@hws.bitnet xLogicCircuits is a graphical circuit design program. Starting with an empty circuit board with eight inputs along the left and eight outputs along the right, circuits made by dragging AND, OR, or NOT gates to their appropriate positions on the board. Then connections are made by clicking the mouse on a source connection and draging to the desired pin of the gate. In addition to the three gates, there is also a template of a power source (constantly on) and a delay (length of delay is set by the user). After a circuit is constructed, power can be switched on or off at any of the input leads and the resulting power configuration of the circuit is displayed. Circuits can also be saved and used as "modules" for more complex circuits. A number of examples are included. The program runs on all machines tested, and will run under both System 6 and System 7. It appears to be 32-bit clean. -------------------------------------------------------------- Location in Mathematics Archives: Anonymous FTP: /mac/discreteMath /mac/logic /mac/miscellaneous Gopher: (First select "Software" then "Macintosh software arranged by subjects") Discrete Math / xLogicCircuits Logic / xLogicCircuits Miscellaneous / xLogicCircuits --------------------------------------------------------------
