This package contains four programs to visualize the solutions of the heat 
equation and the wave equation.  For the heat equation, color is used for 
the temperature.  Once the boundary conditions are set, the interior changes 
color corresponding to the change in temperature.  A timer shows elapsed time.

The one-dimensional wave equation program allows the user to select from 
among pre-defined initial conditions.  The two-dimensional wave equation
program allows the user to draw the initial condition.  As the program runs, 
the animated solution with the timer displayed is generated. 

Programs are in fat binary.  Tested on a PowerMac 7100 running system 7.5.1.
