Graphing calculators provide opportunities for collaborative learning experiences in mathematics. They
provide the impetus for student sharing in their study of mathematics. This presentation focuses on
TI-83 graphing calculator activities that have been designed to encourage collaborative work by students. The activities include graphical exercises, numerical exercises using the table feature of the
calculator, and exercises that focus on evaluation features of the calculator.
