Presentation: Facilitating the Effective Integration of Various Technologies in Secondary Mathematics Methods Courses

The mathematics education group at the University of Virgina is working on a project to develop activities to help preservice and inservice secondary and middle school teachers to effectively incorporate technology in their teaching. The technology used includes Excel, graphing calculators, The Geometer's Sketchpad, internet resources, java applets, and MicroWorlds (LOGO). The activities cover a wide variety of mathematical topics including those in algebra, geometry, probability, statistics, and calculus.
