Workshop: Come Develop HyperStudio media for the K-12 Classroom
Sharon Husch

HyperStudio was written by Robert Wagner for 5th grade students to develop software. The program is available for both Mac and PC; however this workshop will be presented on the Mac platform. Many schools already have the software available. It is a powerful program which will allow the user to quickly create "stacks" for classroom use. This authoring program is easy to learn and use, and you will be an expert in no time at all.

The workshop is designed to "make and take." We hope that each participant will create a HyperStudio stack and share their products with fellow participants so that everyone will leave with more than one stack.

The first two days will be spent in learning the simple commands of this package and the remainder of the week will be spent in development and sharing of stacks. The facilitators, will be present to instruct, answer questions, and help in any way possible.

So, begin thinking of a topic for your stack, gathering some graphics from the internet or other places, and collecting objects to be scanned, and come join our workshop for a fun week at the Barrett Lectures.
