The sequence recursively defined by is often called the Pell Sequence or Fibonacci sequence of order two. In this paper, the TI89 and Mathematica 8.0 enables one to examine ratios of successive terms, explore divisibility and periodicity, furnish early prime outputs and provide algebraic proofs of palatable number tricks.
