Teaching 3D Mathematical Modeling and Interpolation

In this paper, we discuss how computer packages can be used to illustrate mathematical modeling in R3
and interpolation. Students are shown how to break a complex modeling problem into a series of simpler ones and how to change the position, scale, and rotation of objects over time using interpolation.
