Comparing Partial-credit Graded Examinations and an End-of-semester Bonus Quiz for Computerized Examinations

This article describes a study comparing the exams of one hundred randomly chosen students from a business calculus class. For each student, the exams were graded using a partial-credit system and compared to the exams graded by Blackboard/WebCT coupled with an end-of-semester bonus quiz. We also discuss the types of questions and rubrics for partial credit for several problems.
