Using the TI-Nspire CAS Software as a Classroom Demonstration Tool

Since Texas Instruments no longer supports Derive, those who have relied on it in teaching calculus are faced with finding an alternative software product. In this paper, we present some of the pros and cons of using the TI -Nspire CAS computer software for demonstrations in a first-year calculus course.
