ABSTRACT
To address the high attrition rate among engineering majors, a strategy was employed using web-based
mathematics examinations, tutoring and advising to improve retention. We will discuss the software,
exam questions, and analysis of student performance. (Funded in part by NSF grant DUE 9980687).
