ABSTRACT
Translating basic principles of electromagnetism into short formulas involving products
of complex numbers, we will see how a hypothetical imaging radar encodes a simple
image. Matlab will decode radar returns to recreate the image by solving a small set
of linear equations. Parallels with CAT scan processing will be outlined.
